John N Kuhre, DDS
Dr. John Kuhre has been practicing all phases of general and cosmetic dentistry for over 27 years. He graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School in 1985, graduating fourth in a class of over 150 students. Immediately following dental school, Dr. Kuhre elected to refine and expand his professional skills and knowledge, and was accepted into a General Practice Residency with the United States Air Force Dental Corps, one of the most competitive post-graduate general dental residencies in the country at that time. During his residency, Dr. Kuhre trained and developed proficiency not only in general and cosmetic dentistry, but in most other specialty areas of dentistry, including extensive training and experience in oral surgery.
During his time with the US Air Force Dental Corps, Dr. Kuhre was a member of the 27th Tactical Fighter Squadron Medical Group and served in various leadership and supervisory capacities in the US Air Force Hospital at Cannon AFB in Clovis, New Mexico. He was the Hospital and Dental Clinic Infection Control Officer, the Hospital Oral Surgery In-Patient Supervisor, and the Medical Group Triage Officer. Dr. Kuhre went through many advanced training courses, including ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support).
Since leaving the Dental Air Corps in 1991, Dr. Kuhre has been with several large multi-disciplinary Dental Groups, and finally opened the Coppell office, Cornerstone Dental – Valley Ranch in 2002. Dr. Kuhre keeps current by constantly renewing his skills and knowledge through frequent attendance at Continuing Education courses in such areas as Infection Control, Dental Implantology, CAD-CAM Restorative Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, and many other phases of contemporary dental practice.
